99 JGC 2WD I6 having issues starting
Over the last few weeks My jeep will not start unless I give it gas and hold it at 2000 RPM for about 20 seconds in which it will finally "catch" I recently replaced the battery (Battery was bad) and the fuel filter thinking it could be that. No codes are showing, my idle has been rough also. I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC sensor mounted to the throttle body itself. I checked for vacuum leaks to which there appears to be none. Once the jeep warms up it start right up however it still idles rough but has smoothed slightly since the fuel filter replacement. I did a seafoam fuel treatment about a month ago and problems started about 2 weeks back. I plan to replace the spark plugs as I replaced them about 3 years back which is also when I replaced my TPS. Up until recently my Jeep had not given me many issues. Any ideas? Mornings have been cold but not crazy. The 2 times my jeep would not start I warmed the battery inside for 30-45 minutes and it started up right after. Could this be an issue with my ignition relay fuse (#8 I believe) located near the battery? Autozone checked everything and they said Battery, ignition, fuel pump and alternator came back working fine.
