'99 Limited HVAC Fan Troubles

On my '99 Limited with the automatic temperature controls, it blows about 1/2 the pressure out the driver side vents than it does the passenger side (the driver side middle vent under the radio and the driver side vent by the door). It does this in heat and AC.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Re: '99 Limited HVAC Fan Troubles

That is strange, because normally you get more air on the drivers side then on the passengers side. There is probably some kind of restriction in the tubing towards the drivers side.

Re: '99 Limited HVAC Fan Troubles

Re: '99 Limited HVAC Fan Troubles

The biggest part runs inside the HVAC housing. You can only split that one when its out of the jeep, but to do that, you would have to remove the whole dash.
Are you sure that both air outlets are functioning properly and open completely?

Re: '99 Limited HVAC Fan Troubles

Pretty sure. It blows the same out the dash vents on heat and AC.

Where would they be at to check? Would that require pulling the dash as well?
