99 WJ Sounds like massive air sucking??

I own a 99 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7l. Unfortunately I wrecked it 2 weeks ago in a ditch. Mainly just messed up the front left on the car. Took it to the auto body shop and paid my $500 deductible to the insurance company. I just got the car back last Tuesday and it had a weird whining noise coming from what seemed to be the belt(thought nothing of it cause I needed my car back from body shop). Then just yesterday I was driving home from work and stopped at a store then got back in my car and started it up and heard a very loud massive air sucking noise kinda like a loud industrial fan or a semi. Then it went a way, started driving down the road it came back. It only happens when the rpms are above 2000. When I step on the gas to about 4000 or 5000 rpms it is very loud and makes a screeching noise sounds like radiator. I was googleing the problem last night and sounded like fan clutch but did a few tests like 1.turn car on then off if fan continues to spin its bad but mine stop almost immediately 2.spin fan while car is warmed up but off if it spins with some tension its good and a few other that i can remember but they all say that it is good. I looked up videos and researched the noise and sounds like that is it. Sounds like the fan kicks on to max as soon as it passes 1500-2000 rpms. Please some one give me some insight thanks..

Bad clutch fan, the clutch fan is stuck your on

Had to the same thing happend on my 4.0 basically the fan clutch isn't allowing slipage to the fan is is engaged all the time.

Best way to test this is when it's cold out you should be able to stop the fan with a rolled up news paper. because the clutch is supposed to be disengaged.

Replace the fan clutch like $60-90 bucks it screws onto the water pump and your fan attaches to it.

Forgot to mention Try moving the fan by hand first it should give some resistance when cold. when the motor is hot the fan should spin decently easy.

Also at high RPM's around 3k+ and help it should release.

Check for an Oily Build up.

Sure sounded like the fan was stuck on because you can see the stuff in the engine bay getting blown around. Like i said before the clutch should disengage at 3k rpm regardless of temp you may have to hold it there.

Alright fixed fan clutch today in 30 mins and that lovely noise actually weny away! Thank god! But just a quick question? Now everytime im doing 50-55 mph and let go of the gas it feels like it is bogging down and immediately starts to slow down. Doesnt happen at any other speed. Started doing this like 3 days ago. Just a little worried about it
