Air conditioning

Hello from Sydney Australia first time post i hope i am in the correct section one question my 2003 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7 V8 with manual air conditioning only blows air to the windscreen vents the fan control and the temperature control work correctly and the air conditioning is cold and the heat and cold cycles work correctly but no floor and face vents operation only windscreen vents what would cause this thanking you

You have a vacuum leak somewhere. The position control is done by vacuum (with windscreen vents being the default position). Check the lines for one that's disconnected, leaking, or kinked.

What jeepme said, there is normally a vacuum leak somewhere under the hood from the engine inlet. Or the line is disconnected, or shaved through somewhere.

Thanks for the imformation you guys are correct it was a vacuum line split from the engine throttle body Jeeps Rule
