I believe I have a vacuum problem but am having trouble determining which vac line I need to check out. There is a youtube video showing the vac line but it is a 2004 and my 1999 is totally different. Does anyone have a picture of the correct vac line for a 1999?
I checked my blend doors and they and the actuator are working properly.
Thanks for any help!
Your jeep probably has the manual AC system, which uses a vacuum operated mode door actuator (the blend door is electrical).
Many times the problem is with the vacuum line on the engine intake. I would look there for a loose or leaking vacuum line.

Thanks Frango, you have helped me several times. I do have the manual A/C and after reading many posts I am homing in on the vacuum as the culprit. I'm going to pull out my battery and the holder beneath it so I can check out the situation tomorrow morning.
Well I found the problem after removing the battery and the battery holder, etc. The black hard vacuum line had some holes in it where went under the vac actuator. It seems battery acid had dripped on it over the years and finally ate through the vac line. So I replace the lines in the area and now have full strength from the AC system.
Thanks again for your help!
