Alternator whine in radio speakers.

When ever i use my aux in on the radio i get alternator whine, but listening to a.m or fm no interference except for little to no signal reception. I have ran a grounding mod thinking it help but no. I checked the two little modules by the injectors for radio suppression and they are properly installed.

Re: Alternator whine in radio speakers.

You presume its alternator whine, because the ignition capacitors seem to be ok? To be sure the whine is alternator related, you can remove the acessory belt (cold engine) and run the engine without it. The waterpump will not turn, so keep this as short as possible, but you can check if the noise is gone.
