Re: azc has no heat
Here's what I did for a temporary fix for the winter:
I dropped the glove box and removed (unscrewed and disconnected) the blower motor. I cut a small inspection hole by where the door is. Then, I propped up the door and drilled a long screw above the hole so that the door rests on the nail, leaving the heat position permanently open. It's not ideal since I don't have any cooling, but whenever I decide to either swap out a new door or decide I need cooling, I'll just drop the glove box and remove the screw. Either way, I think heating is more important than cooling. Whenever I'm warm, I can just open my windows and drive fast. When I'm cool, I can't do anything about it.
This is probably the cheapest fix you'll find.
