Beef Up my 42RE Tranny

Im get some $$$ soon so im looking to put in an extremly large stroker but my transmission scares me. I already blew up one when I bought my WJ two years ago. They had to get a replacement one from a donor which is iffy at best. What can I do to beef it up. A new torque converter is all that comes to mind but im expecting a range of 400-500 ft/lbs of torque. Any advice
