Bit of a strange problem....

Ok, I bought my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee two weeks ago and I gave it a good clean..... I was wiping down the upper surface of the dash when the little plastic lens that covers the flashing alarm bulb went flying across the top of the dash and disappeared down the air vent.
I am wondering if I can get it out by following the instructions for “fitting a cabin filter”

It does not appear to be causing any harm and it only bounces around in the air flow when the climate control fan is set to full blast. It might be easier to just leave it and buy a replacement part?
What do you all think?

i think you should try to take apart the dash to get but i mean if it isnt causeing any problems then just leave it

Just an update....
I managed to get the little lens out this afternoon. I removed the Upper dash trim and set the AC fan to max speed for the windscreen vents and the little lens blew back out. I did place masking tape around the gaps so that there was no chance of the lens falling between the vent tubes and down inside the dash.
I used this website as a guide:
