Re: Body control module

There are in fact 3 fuses sending power to the BCM, they are all on the junction block: fuse 7 (10A), direct from the battery; fuse 22 (10A) powered in RUN/START and fuse 28 (10A) powered in RUN/ACC.
You should never rule out any fuse, but because the BCM has so many switching functions, a blown fuse here should have caused many more systems to be inoperative.

Re: Body control module

Thanks for your answer, I checked the fuses into their box and they have been very tighted, I clean all of the fuses and start the engine, but nothing happened, the problem continue, I was thinking in replace the body control module, but I am working in other things first, until all the possible factors than can cause the problems with the wiper , fuel gauges and temperature gauges are checked I will consider change the BCM and the PCM , its gonna take maybe a lot of time , but I will persist in find the true problem, I donít want a lot of money .
how much do you consider I can spend in change the module?
Best regards

Re: Body control module

all fuses are ok, i am thinking in making a bridge in order to eliminate the bcm from the wiper, i dont need the intermitent switch so much( in the 1,2 , 3 , 4 and 5 position) and if i can operate the wiper only with the low and high positions , it can be a solutions, i think the bmc is working with some problems and it operate the actuators, what do you think?? i was cheking the wiring diagram of the wiper and i think it can be modified

Re: Body control module

Did you measure the multi function switch to be sure that this is not the problem?
Not sure if bypassing the BCM is so wise. The BCM switches the on/off as well as the high/low and when i'm not wrong he switches off the power to the wiper motor when the wipers are in park.
You could probably not use the multifunction switch, because it is using several internal resistors and most probably will not switch the on/off relay.

Re: Body control module

Hi I cheeked the right multi function switch and Öis bad in the high speed (it does not work in this position), I have tested the wiring and its connections to the regarding relays and work well, I must change the right multifunction switch, but the problem is going to continue, it doesnít resolve the wiper problem, I think there are more possibilities that the problem is located in the BMC module, I still working on finding the issue, little by little.

best regards
