Busted Re-circ door

Hi Folks,
I dropped the fan out and hey ho the recirc door was just lying there, the part of the door which attaches to the motor shaft was knackered so there's no hope for it.
Which way do I need to jam the door open so it only uses the outside air, up (horizontal) against the 'grid' or down covering the hole?
Cheers
Paul.

Re: Busted Re-circ door

I believe if it is up against the grid it blocks inside air from being recirculated, if its down blocking the other hole its blocking outside air from coming in.

Re: Busted Re-circ door

Thanks for that, we don't have too much extreme weather where we are so I'll just go with nature for now - I'll drill the door and tie wrap it up
Cheers
Paul.

Re: Busted Re-circ door

All sorted, drilled two holes in the door and zip tied the door to the grid behind. Pig trying to get the drill holes in the right place but now it's blowing like a good 'un again!
Cheers
Paul.
