Cam position sensor

Jee died on me. Checked codes looks like it's the cam position sensor got a new one old one was destroyed on inside so I got a whole new assembly. I have set tdc and fired it up. Do I need to use a timing light or ecu reset for timing stuff???

You are talking about the 4.0? If only the sensor was changed, nothing extra will be required. When the oil pump drive with the sensor where changed together, the DRBIII scanner should be used to check the right position of the oil pump drive.

Ok thank you yes I changed both. What other scanners can you check with other than the DRB3?
