Check engine help!

so the code came up as PO161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 2 Sensor 2). i just dont know which one to replace, but i came upon this pic

is it the one that says 2/1 02S ?

Bank 2 sensor 2 would be the same as 2/2 which is one of the downstream sensors. My guess is if the code is for the sensor heater circuit then the sensor needs to be replaced. That said, all the downstream sensors do is monitor the catalytic converter performance, they are not critical to engine operation like the upstream sensors.

k so guess my jeep isnt a california emmissions. its federal so i only have the two top o2 sensors. would it be the back sensor then??

When you have the Federal Emissions you should only have the 1/1 and 1/2 sensors. The 2/1 and 2/2 sensors are for the California Emissions. Do you have 2 catalitic converters on the left side of the engine block? If yes, you have the California Emissions. There should be a fuse #16 (15A)in the power distribution center for the O2 sensor heaters and a downstream O2 heater relay. Would not expect one of them, since you only have 1 sensor message, but doesn't cost anything to check.
If you are going to change the sensor, it should be the sensor below the aft catalitic converter.
