Coolant Leak

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee V8, coolant is leaking some where at the rear of the engine, and drips from the joint between engine and bell housing. With the starter removed, and the cooling system pressurised, I cannot see any visible leak. Are there core plugs on the rear of the engine block, behind the flywheel ? Has anyone else had a similar leak ?

I will appreciate any advice, regards, Paul

Re: Coolant Leak

If the system is pressurized, there is no coolant leaking, or you just canīt see where it comes from? Eventhough it is under pressure, if the engine is cold, it could show no leak. I would clean it all up very well and then warm the engine up and check again.
As far as i know, there is no core plug behind the flywheel.

Re: Coolant Leak

It could be running down the fire wall from heater core hose.
