After the pains of the brakes, I thought all would be plain sailing from now on
Driving up the M6 yesterday, lots of holdups and accidents, lots of stop start, anyway just after we got past all the problems, i noticed that my temp gauge was reading high, just the traffic I thought, pressed on for 1/2 mile and it was still going up. Pulled of at the next road junction and pulled to a stop just as the check gauges came on and waited for it to cool down with the engine off.
Lost coolant, brought out the RAC, he filled it up, did a pressure test and a hydro carbons test, all passed, followed me for 10 miles on the way home, temp never moved from just before mid level. Rest of way home temp was steady apart from a 10 minute time when it rose to just above halfway, but 10mins later went back down.
Do I have a duff coolant system or is it a one off?
Anyone want to buy a Jeep?
