Re: Did shift solenoid & Transgo hd2 kit, flash or dont have to?

Internal leaks should have been accompanied with a high CVI for the respective clutch pack, but also a worn clutch pack should give a high CVI.
You didn't see any strange material in the pan when you changed the fluid? Also no burnt smell to the fluid? Slipping clutch packs will quickly cause the fluid to get a burned smell.
This is quite a strange problem. I just wonder what can be wrong in the transmission when the CVI's and line pressure are in specs. It could eventually be a problem with the TCM

Re: Did shift solenoid & Transgo hd2 kit, flash or dont have to?

It was a little burnt when I did it again but it started slipping after I changed the solenoid pack but as you said it was probably because I didn't change that gasket between the valve body and the tranny so then I changed the whole valve body out of another tranny and same thing a little burnt and there was this little pile of black sludge I saw it wasn't much like just this little pile the size if a pencil eraser

The first time that you changed the fluid was there not a lot more black sludge in the pan?
Since 1st and 2nd gear are not slipping, you would expect the line pressure to be ok. So the problem should be with the overdrive clutch or overdrive clutch hydraulic circuit.
Tranny swap is probably the best thing to do then.
