Front axle bushings

Hi guys,
During an inspection underneath the car, i saw that both rubber bushings from the mounting lugs on top of the front axle, are in a bad shape. I want to replace both bushings, but have a hard time to find them. Anybody already replaced them and knows which P/N they have or where i can find them?

Re: Front axle bushings

Frank I also am having issues on the rear of our '99 and having a hard time.I can find stuff easily for the upper wishbone and and a replacement ball joint but not much for the lowers.I thought i have seen some control arm stuff on JustForJeeps but I haven't got back there yet. From what I've heard they used to be called nonservicable (buy new arms) but Energy Suspension was supposed to come out with a complete control arm bushing kit although I haven't been able to find anything on their site. The arms aren't to terribly expensive but still I'd rather not replace all of them.I'd say poke around JustForJeeps.com. I'm going to do some searching there myself.

Re: Front axle bushings

Thanks Dave. The bushings i'm looking for are not mounted inside the upper control arms, but on the axle lugs themselves. I saw the rubber detached, eventhough no noise or anything coming from the front. Also the rear axle upper bushings of the triangle are in the same state. Will continue to search around.

Re: Front axle bushings

This site shows the upper control arms, but doesn´t show the bushings inside the front axle lugs. But thanks anyhow Dave.

Re: Front axle bushings

Just waiting for a reply from xtremeterrain to be sure that the bushing they show as for the upper control arm, does fit in the axle lug.
