front axle replacement

hey guys just like the title says im doing both of my front axles on my 01 grand cherokee limited v8 qudradrive. i found the axles for a nice price and was just wondering what else should get replaced with theses like is there seals? i am going to be installing new hubs as well along with shocks "bilsteins" springs "eibach" sway bars front "edelbrock" rear "addco" and new drilled slotted rotors all the way around. I allready have drilled all the way around but they are warpped allready in less than a year warped like bad. So to fix this i am going with a more aggressive drilled and sloted design. was thinking about getting a 70mm tb also with a dynomax super turbo setup would you guys say yeah or nay to that one? thanx for the help

Re: front axle replacement

How about upgrading to Akebono calipers while your at it.... also dont forget to get anti-seize for the new hubs your installing, I replaced my old one and it was a pain to remove, I had to use a 3 prong puller on one side cause the rust baked in it.

X2 on the Akenbono Upgrade. If you go with the Drilled and slotted rotors there is a chance that they would be squeaking when you brake. Go with Slotted.

Re: front axle replacement

I would just look at the parts diagram and replace it if its cheap or looks worn.
