Question Front Passenger side lock & Acceleration hesitation

Ok, I am new to this site and wanted to get some advice on two issues with my GC.

First, the front passenger side locks are funny. Remote keyless entry will always unlock it but rarely will lock it. When I lock it manually, I have to do it several times before it will actually lock (push lock in, shut door, check handle & repeat if not locked). From reading other forums and threads, is it the actuator???

Second is the hesitation. When starting to accelerate from a stop, it will hesitate like its not getting any power. This happens mostly after the jeep is warmed up. It does not happen frequently but I also have barely applying the gas from experiencing the issue the first time. There was one day after first experiencing the issue where it actually stalled within an intersection and kept stalling for the rest of that day. It would not go past 1st gear or else it would shut off. I haven't had that problem again but I would like to know what could be causing this before it happens again.

Re: Front Passenger side lock & Acceleration hesitation

Regarding the power lock, its most probably the lockmotor itself. Does it make any strange sound when you lock it with the remote? To be sure its the lockmotor itself, you could get to the electrical harness inside the door and put 12V directly on the lockmotor, reverse polarity to let the motor go into the other direction.
Regarding the stalling, your check engine light didnīt come on? You could try to retrieve any fault codes with the keydance (ignition switch OFF/ON 3 times and leave it in on at the third time. Odometer will show "DONE" when no faults, or one or more fault codes)
Once you are driving, the engine is behaving normally, or does it lack power or any other strange things?
