fuel issues

Problem #2.(of too many) hehe. I know I have an O2 sensor that needs changed (1/1)BUT, why on earth does my jeep act up and suck gas like no other....every time I add gas to the tank?? I mean, it will tame down eventually and act right, but as soon as I add gas again....it runs like shit til below 1/8 tank. I recently started to opt for non ethanol...lower octane...thinking maybe my jeep was just tired of Ethanol blended gas. Doesn't seem to matter tho. A couple months ago I had a new fuel pump put in and have been getting codes for large evap leak since about 2 weeks after? Could it be that something wasn't done right when the new pump was put in? Or could it really just be the O2 sensor?

Re: fuel issues

If you have a bad O2 sensor, it uses the O2 sensor to deturmine how much fuel to add to the mix, if it doesnt know an accurate amount of fuel to add then it will run like crap, start with a known bad (assuming you have a dtc for the o2 sensor).

Re: fuel issues

For the large EVAP leak, check the vent hoses underneath the jeep. Maybe one came loose.
