My first thought was if you park outside, are people siphoning your gas? lol
hmmmm can you actually do that with a gc? i tried to do it on my avenger 95 and i couldnt get a hose in it. so it went to the yard with a full tank of 93

i thought they had a trap door in the hose so you cant siphon gas out only in.. am i wrong.

anyone ever think about the cold weather effecting the mileage on there jeeps? i know my mileage goes down pretty good in the winter months as the air is colder the comp tell the injectors to make up for the denser cold air, meaning more fuel. i lose around 50 miles to a tank on the jeep in winter months weird....

Haha, I thought the same thing Jeff.

When gas prices got all crazy a few years ago. I bought a locking gas cap.

Re: Gas consumption on my jeep

Sorry if I missed a comment like this above but.. I would get it running and lay under it and check for any leaking. Even have someone get in it and pump the gas a few times while you're below and check the course of the gas line. Pay special attention to your filter and examine the gas tank as best as possible. Follow the lines as far as you can. You could have a hairline crack that mists out gas while running and allows gas to wick out while off.
