Getting Horrible Gas Mileage

I just recently built a cold air intake for my wj and ever since I put it on I can watch the gas gauge go further and further down laughing in my face at every fill up. For some reason I cannot tell why, it has been like this since my first set up. Now to explain that I've had 2 cai set ups. 1st one I did not like the way I built it, took it off put stock box back on. Now ever since then mialage has been much lower even with the stock air box. Put the new one on and now it's even worse. I got gas yesterday, drove extra easy on the highway and it still looks like someone came in and raped my tank. So I don't know whats up with it. Any input would be awesome.

reset your pcm by removing the negative cable. I know on the wk's you just need to press the brake pedal to release the stored energy......probably the same wiht your WJ

Reset the pcm back at 16.8 but still burnt a half tank of gas since yesterday and barley went anywhere

maybe your foot has gotten heavier? Seriously....intake, exhaust....the WJ is sounding good when you floor it? Maybe thats the problem?

Thought of that it I had been but filled half way up drove conservativly and still 1 day-half tank I fugured it to be a little under 100 miles or so. Im getting an averae of maybe 14. Still a little low if you ask me. I never remember it eating that much. Computer average says 16.8

lol yeah but I only have a 6 banger. Something is not right though. Dumped almost a half tank of gas in 90 miles.

I was getting around 14.3 which is sucky for me.. I usually get at least 16 or so. Changed the oil as well as the air filter last week and I'm now getting 18.9  I almost didn't believe it.

Wait maybe the hose that connects to the stock air box from the valve cover? I have no idea what that would have to do with it but It just has a breather filter on it now not having the hot air pulled out through the intake.
