Have a 2002 jeep gr. cherokee, 6 cyl, replaced crank shaft sensor, have had a starting problem since - starts fine on cold starts, once ran 10-15 minutes, shut off, won't start, just cranks. Wait 10-15 minutes, fires up fine. Mechanic is stumped, any ideas are apprecaited, thanks!
Welcome to the garage. What was the reason the crank sensor was changed? Was an original mopar part used, or parallel part? Does any fault code show up doing the key dance? (ignition off-on 3 times and leave it in on at the third time. Fault code(s) will be shown in odometer display)
