HELP Need the RIGHT GAS CAP for EVAC code ISSUE.

MAJOR issue. MY EVAC code is on, I have gotten the smoke test ( 85.00 BUX !! ) To tell me I need a Gas cap !! I have read this is a issue ALOT with this jeep , SO I NEED to know what is the RIGHT gas cap to buy, that makes the code go away ???? ANY and ALL help appreciated !!! I will also post this certain question on a new post , But I would love some mods, and I am looking at getting the shorty antenna, and chrome side panels , ETC ...

How did they discover that the gas cap is bad? With the EVAP code set (depends also on which one you have) it means that there is a leak somewhere in the EVAP system. A new gas cap can solve the problem, but also many times the problem is one of the lines underneath the car. The rubber gets dry and cracks.

the original gas cap mopar used in our WJ and other early 20' cars/trucks can get faulty after time and teh gasket looks perfectly finr.

i had the gas cap code and the newer version cap fix the problem part number 52124512AA
