Hit and run in the front. Need some help on what to do.

Someone hit my jeep in the front. It looks like a few cosmetic issues, hood, fenders, bumper, radiator, upper bar, fan, and condenser replacement should fix it. Battery died. Engine tries to turn over but just makes a popping noise then died again. The front bracket on the frame is bent a little.

I've ordered the parts for replacement. My only questions are: Is there anything else I should check? Can I pull the dent out of the frame or can I work with it? Are there any other parts I need to buy to replace that you can foresee?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey JS
How's the progress? Did you determine why the battery went flat? reason I ask is that a few years back, I took a bowling ball sized piece of concrete that fell off an oncoming CAT hauler directly into the headlamp on my driver side (your passenger side). It was a 100 kph two lane country road. It was a terrific impact and the most raucous, destructive sound--knocked open the ash tray and took three hours off my digital clock. Still pretty happy it didn't bounce any higher if you know what I'm saying?

It obliterated everything ahead of the battery tray including the wrapped wiring harness and a vacuum line and box that influences the cruise control. I tried to drive after but wasn't aware of the wiring damage so watched the ammeter fall. I was able to field fix the broken wires once the harness tape was peeled back but just suggesting that behind your lamps, make sure there's no hidden damage.

Hopefully you're well on your way or already back on the road. If not, those cracks in the bumper cover can be repaired and freshly painted without whole lot of cost / effort. Good luck and let us know where your at in the repair!
