How do you re programme the service intervals on the computer?

I'm servicing my 2000 WJ V8 myself (slowly but surely). One thing amongst many I'm stuck with, is how to re programme the service intervals on the overhead computer. It's driving me nuts beeping every time I start it. I'm looking for an easier option than taking it to the mechanics to have it plugged in.

Thanks

Aaron

Hold the reset button for a period longer than 3 seconds

Re: How do you re programme the service intervals on the computer?

There is also a way to change the length of the service intervals. Anyone know how to change that setting? I know the dealer changed mine to 7,000 miles.

yes. you can adjust that from a number of selections of the user mods within the Menu portion of the computor. Can also change from imperial or metric..
