Hydraulic Arms not working on rear door (2001 WJ)

I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything (although I'm sure I am not the first to experience this).

The hydraulic arms that hold open the rear door/hatch don't always work. When it's cold out, they don't hold the door open. My questions are as follows:
  • How difficult is it to replace these?
  • How much are parts, and where can I get them?
  • Is there a how-to guide anywhere on here (is it even difficult enough to need one?)?

Thanks!

Re: Hydraulic Arms not working on rear door (2001 WJ)

-Not very difficult at all. To replace those two, your looking between 15-45 minutes.

-Mine just went out as well. Went to the local autozone and they said $35 a pop totaling $70 for just two! I went on Amazon.com and ordered the two hood arms, and the two rear hatch arms for $70 shipped to the door. They were about $15-20 each.

-It's basically just screw out, replace, screw in.

Thanks for the response! You wouldn't happen to have a link to the product on Amazon, do you? Or have a part number?
