interior lights/battery drain

Hi has anyone had an issue with their interior lights staying on for long periods after exiting the vehicle and locking it?

I have also noted that the alarm flasher doesn't all ways illuminate.

I disconnected the battery and it reset the alarm flasher but now its not coming on again.

The interior illumination switch is at its lowest point on the stem so I know its not being overridden by this.

Regards

Re: interior lights/battery drain

I will have to look into this a bit more, but when im not wrong the problem is most probably the lock switch in the drivers door lock mechanism. Does it make any difference if you use the key in the door lock instead of using the remote?
