Red face jeep wj cluster lights wont turn off

I have a 2000 model jeep wj I had some lighst burned out in the cluster so decided to replace with leds works great looks cool but now they won't turn off its just the five backlights so I put the original bulbs back in it same thing so now I'm stuck pulling the clsuer out everynight an un plugging it any help would be great

Re: jeep wj cluster lights wont turn off

Check your fuses, cluster, and the wiring for any damage, something may be causing them to short out. Get a "new" cluster from a junkyard, plug it in and see if it does the same thing or not. If not, you know you have a bad cluster, if it does the same thing, then you'll know there's something wrong elseware.

Well even if I could figure out witch wire supplys power to these lights I would cut it an rewire but I've looked for a wiring digram an can seem to find one
