Laredo electrical issues....

My 03 Grand is having some issues:

I have a few dash lights Iíve learned to deal with. Such as the air bag light randoming going on/off, coolant low warning (not low). The engine light, canít be positive that thereís an actually issue making this light come on, as itíll go off, then be on again a month later. This has been the case since I bought it used last year. I check codes via 3 turns of the ignition, and no coded appear.

Right now Iím going on what my wife tells me as I never drive it enough for these issues to happen. She says:
Quote:
All the lights on the dash flashed and radio cut out completely, then when i turned it off the car was completely dead and about a couple min later the car started and was fine. Today the car hesitated to start but was fine but everything was reset like the battery went dead
I will be taking it to the nearby auto parts store and having them test the batt, alt, and whatever test they are capable of. Any thoughts based on her description above?

Re: Laredo electrical issues....

The airbag light going on and off is commonly caused by a broken clock spring.

Re: Laredo electrical issues....

Check the battery connections for being clean and well fastened.
Some people had similar problems, which could be traced back by corrosion in the cables close to the battery connections.
