misfire cyl. 1

replaced plug, coil, and injector still not solving the problem. for the most part it runs pretty good idles down at stop lights to 500 rpm but only sometimes. also cuts out but only under heavy throttle and on occasion leaving a light or stop sign. anyone have any suggestions? any help would be awesome thanks

4.7 i dont know the exact codes i had the guy at autozone scan it for me.
ive tried to switch out coils to see if the problem follows and it does'nt so far

You can easily check the codes yourself with the key dance: Switch the ignition key off-on, off-on, off-on and leave it in on. Now in the odometer you will see the fault codes one by one or DONE when there are no faults.
If you donīt know the fault codes, how do you know that cylinder #1 is still the problem?

i only know what the guy with the scanner at autozone told me. it shows misfire cyl. 1 everytime the light appears. I will try the key dance and see what code or codes pop up. i will keep you posted as to what i find thank you for your help

Ultimately it sounds as though you have singled out all the external causes... its time for some internal tests, compression, leakdown, maybe a rocker that has come off... At least its on a good side, the even bank is SUCKY in the WJ.
