So i would first clear the faults and try again. With the "check gages" light on, which other abnormal indication on the instrument panel do you have? The "check gages" light only tells you that some indication is abnormal, low oil pressure or high coolant temp for example.

I think the oil pressure was low so that's why the "Check Gauages" was on so we went ahead and replaced the oil yesterday night. I think we might buy a whole new coil rack along with spark plugs to fix the cylinder misfire. Any suggestions on spark plugs anyone?

From what I have heard the standard OE copper plugs work best in the Jeep engines. While I did install some Bosch platinum plugs, they didn't seem to make any difference in performance. Champion copper plugs are OE, or NGK v-power plugs reportedly work well too.
