new first time owner of a jeep

well i just got my first jeep its a 1999 grand cherokee larado so far im loving this thing. i do have a few problems to fix like the valve pan gasket and tranny pan leaking. my questions are
1 when i run the heater in defrost it makes this bad winding sound but dont do it in any other setting why is that?
2 seems like my oil gauge is messed up if im sitting at idel its fine but when i take off it jumps to the high side for awhile and the evens off should i be conserned?
3 why is my left front caliber sticking when im on the highway but not when im in town driving?
4 as this is a una body where could i mount some tow hooks or clivics at?

Re: new first time owner of a jeep

Regarding the oil pressure question, i would change the oil pressure sending unit. Its probably getting bad.
How do you know that the left front caliper is sticking? Is the jeep pulling to that side or does the brake gets hot? If its really sticking, you probably have to lubricate the sliding pins. Donīt know if your jeep still has the original calipers, or that its already modified to the better Akebono ones.
