Re: no shifter light

Got my led strips, installed them just like ZACEDWARD AND GUS9890 told me to and they work great even works with the dimmer.Don't know if they will be too bright for my liking because it's still sunny out but if they are maybe I will go with just one strip instead of two.THANKS AGAIN GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. oh yea buy the way if anyone out there is looking for the original ELECTROLUMINESCENT STRIPS THAT I TRIED FIRST LET ME KNOW I HAVE TWO OF THEM. I'LL SEND THEM TO YOU FOR NOTHING.

Re: no shifter light

Looking to do this mod to my 99, but all I can find is rolls of light, where did you all find the small strips used in your mods?

Re: no shifter light

hi douglassimi I would be happy to help you. I got my led strips at superbrights.com I will tell you what I bought. (2) nfls8-2cpth: clamp on pigtail adapters. (6) nfls-b3-cl:blue led segment (1.97in) (5cm) It comes in one strip you cut in half where you will then get 6 led per strip.make sure you buy pigtail adapters. you need these to put on the ends of your strips.I paid a total of 12.51 for everything. Look up ZACEDWARD HE HAS GOOD PICS FOR DOING THIS. Pretty easy to do, only thing was mine was just a little too bright, so I put a piece of construction paper right over the strips, worked great. I purchased blue for my color you can get what color works best for you. Once your are done lights will work with dimmer switch and headlight switch as normal.Hope this helps you, please let me know that you got this reply. Also let me know how you make out, sorry this is so long. badbacsac

Re: no shifter light

Superbrightleds, Autozone, O'Reilly's, etc. One color LED strips, small and long ones work for whatever you plan on doing. Dash lights should be plug'n'play, rest are solder type (thermostat, door buttons, etc.)
