I'm thinking of making the switch so i can get the two wheel option. what do you guys think ????

A lot of people have done that option. Just find one get get it installed. Look on craigslist and even look on Car-part.com.

How hard would it be to do this myself? Also i've heard that a driveshaft might have to be replaced because of different lengths but idk for sure.

You would have to change the drive shaft in the front. I believe the rear is the same though.

If you could find a wrecked v8 wj with the selec track I would use those shafts. Or just get a tom woods shaft made. I wish I was more help, but mine is a factory 242
