Red face Re: Opinions on rear end crash and busting into flames hype

30 years ago I owned a motorhome (RV) based on a 6+ litre Chevvy truck chassis, (used it to tow my racer). Went into a petrol (gas) station one day to fill up and found the fuel was pouring out as fast as I put it in. The exhaust had blown and melted a hole in the plastic tank. There's merit in using metal for tanks!
