My xj is a US import from Arizona. But it should still be the same

Well, it's registered here in the UK as a 99...and that's how the dealer registered it. Why would they do that?

Oh well, it's good to know at any rate. So, with that out of the way, does anyone have a good part number for the spark plug wires? hehe

Thanks to everyone who helped on this, I really appreciate it!

Re: P/N for spark plug wires?

Well, this is what a 1999 looks like... I'd be back at the stealer if I paid for a 99..... just google parts as a 1998

Re: P/N for spark plug wires?

It was probably one of the last ZJ models from 98 which was sold in 99.
So now you are in the wrong forum
Maybe they can help you better in the ZJ forum.

Does sound strange. Perhaps they didn't get round to registering it until then, but I would definitely speak to them.

To be honest, you may well be better getting the part from the dealer. Some items are cheaper from the dealers in the UK.

Re: P/N for spark plug wires?

I didn't buy it from a dealer, I'm the 6th owner as seems after digging a bit further on teh older inspections. When it was registered originally, so far as I can tell, it was 2 Jan 99...so as far as the UK is concerned, it's a 99. I think that's where the problems start. Thanks again everyone for all the assistance. I really appreciate it.
