Hey all, new to the forums and this is my first post. Have a Jeep 2004 WJ, 4.7L V8 and I have been rebuilding the motor.

Long story short I ended up needing to replace power steering pump and high pressure lines. Bled the system (with vacuum pump) and everything sounds and works awesome except when the hydro fan kicks on to high speed, then there is a really quiet hum that gets louder when I turn the steering wheel (not a whine just a louder hum and a very, very slight vibration I can feel in the steering wheel). I swapped out the pump again thinking It was the pump, new pump is quieter but does the same thing. If I turn off AC so hydro fan is off pump is quiet everything is good. Any ideas?

Check if the hydraulic hoses are not touching each other and any point. If they do, it can cause some strange noises.
