Questions about rear axle seals and Bearings- WJ 4.0

Hello I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 35 dana rear

I went to a mechanic shop and they told me the seals and bearings in the rear end both sides (driver and passenger) are bad. They said I provide parts and they will do the labor. Trying to find the correct parts if anyone can help link me or lead me to the right place or the actual parts I am looking for that help would be appreciated.

On another forum board I posted a link from Morris 4x4 and Rock auto and they told me they were the wrong parts however they did not offer any help in telling me what the correct parts were.

From Morris it said a master bearing and seal kit dana 35 rear axle. Again they said that was not the right parts.

Rock auto shows for 74.00 a kit for each side I believe that includes the seals and bearings but on the other forum they stated it was too much and didn't clarify if that was the right parts either... I just want to make sure I order good quality parts and the right parts before I go back to the shop.

Thanks in advance Links are below of what I thought were the right parts,

Re: Questions about rear axle seals and Bearings- WJ 4.0

Welcome to the garage.
I didnīt change the seals/bearings on my jeep, but i would say that this Omix-Ada kit should fit your jeep.
Maybe that someone who changed it on his jeep can confirm.

So the Omix - Ada link is the correct parts? It shows (4) parts in the kit, I believe and it doesn't really say on Rock-auto but it is the bearings and the seals for one side so I would need 2 for both sides. The other kit from Morris they stated it was the wrong kit but from what I saw in the pictures they look like the same parts just a master kit.

Thanks for your reply.

Re: Questions about rear axle seals and Bearings- WJ 4.0

The Morris kit is a complete kit for the whole Dana 35 axle, so also the pinion and carrier bearings which sit inside the differential, which you donīt need.
The kit from Rockauto is indeed for one side, so you will need two kits.
