Radio problems

Hi everybody.
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 6 speaker system. No additional amp or anything fancy. Lately I've noticed the front passenger and rear drivers side speakers aren't working. Swapped with a known good second radio and had same issue.
Wiring? Fuse I don't know about? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Radio problems

No additional amplifier, but do you have the infinity system with the amplifier underneath the rear seat RH side? When you have the standard system, the only amplifier is inside the radio. Did you check the wiring behind the radio for loose connections?

Re: Radio problems

Yes I did. When I put the second radio in to test, I left the radio out and began moving wires. No luck. The only theory I have is maybe the speaker cables are shorting somewhere. I did replace both driver and passenger window cable/motor assy about a year ago. Maybe? Time to investigate.
