Rear axle bearings quick help needed

Hi all
Doing rear bearings and seals on WJ
I VE GOTTEN AS FAR AS EVERYTHING BACK ONTO AXLE AND POUNDED BEARING AND RETAINER ON
TOOK TO SHOP TO PRESS THE LAST BIT
BUT HOW FAR DOES BEARING NEED TO BE PRESSED ON
THERE IS NO STOP
I KNOW IT DOESNT BOTTOM OUT
Help please waiting to continue

I have not changed it myself yet, but it seems to me that you press the bearing on until it touches the seal, so really until it bottoms. Just checked a video on youtube about it:

Yes watched that vid before posting
The seal rests in the retaining plate and that plate floats
So bearing does not seat tight against the seal as far as I can tell
The old one floated when removed

I did check the manual, but it doesn´t say anything about how far or how much play. Quite strange.

I search this and other forums,venders sites, you tube
And couldn't find any info other than press it!
I didn't think anything about it.It was shop I took axle to press the bearing that asked.i had used old retainer against the new one and a PC of pipe and 2 lb hammer to get on as far as I did.My concern was the splines engaging enough in dif.
I took other wheel off and measured distances and it seems same so bolted her together
