Remote vehicle Locking...

I have noticed that when I press the lock button on the key fob that all of the doors lock except the drivers door. I then have to take the key and manually lock it. Am I doing something wrong or is there something to change or is that the way they designed the WJ models??? I looked on the overhead consol for something to change but did not find anything. Thanks!

It looks like that your drivers side lock/unlock solenoid is inoperative. When you use the lock/unlock switch on the inside door panel, does anything happen then?

With keyfob you mean your remote control, right? Just try to lock/unlock it using the switch on the Drivers Door Module. The drivers side lock/unlock motor is controlled by the Drivers Door Module. The passenger Door Module controls all other doors and the gate. Locking or unlocking is just done by reversing the current through the motor. So when it unlocks, the motor is working ok. The problem can then be in the Drivers Door Module.
