Question Replacing my Transmission fluid soon

Should I replace it with OEM fluid or is there a certain brand anyone recommends?

Re: Replacing my Transmission fluid soon

I run synthetic in mine but honestly I don't see any difference. Any name brand atf+4 would work just as good imo.

I run Royal Purple. Decent price from Summitracing.com. Replace the filter while you're at it, otherwise, what's the point of changing fluid. While you're in there, it takes 20 extra minutes to install a shift kit.

Just be sure to get a 4WD or 2WD specific filter, depending on what you have.

Re: Replacing my Transmission fluid soon

Just my 2 cents worth I picked up valvoline atf +4 from the local shop and it seems to work great. I believe the atf+4 spec is all synthetic anyway.
