Generator and alternator is the same thing. But i have never heard of the L-terminal. The positive terminal on the alternator has always 12 V as long as the battery is connected, so that one you can´t use. You could maybe use the auto shutdown relay output, after fuse 16 (15 A) in the power distribution center. The auto shutdown relay is normally only powered with engine running. ( it powers up in fact as soon as the ignition switch is put in run, but after 2 seconds and not started, it switches off again)
The output from the ASD relay is also going to the injectors and the ignition system, but there is no fuse besides the 30 A main fuse ( Nº 6 in pdc).
