Steering 'whine'

I've heard this noise in various cars over the years a little, when you turn left or right slightly.

So this morning i got in the WJ and turning corners to the right only i would get this 'whine' sound. Acutally i would even get it when going straight..can you give me an idea of what this is?

Thanks!

Re: Steering 'whine'

Check your power steering fluid, it may be low. Or your power steering pump may be dieing.

Re: Steering 'whine'

If they didn't even check the power steering fluid you may want to check and change ALL other fluids and filters!
