Stripped oil filler cap

Help folks,The oil filler cap just spins and I can't get it off,I have a new one in hand so if anyone has a good tip for removing the broke one please share ir with me. 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 4x4 auto.Thanks

I fixed it,just pryed the top off the old one and screwed the bottom part out and put the new one in.maybe this will help someone else.

I had the top come off the threaded bottom on mine recently, had to use two pairs of pliers to get the threaded bottom out.
