T case and front diff.

So I just picked up my truck from a jeep only.mechanic.as.I had.my wheel.seals and pinion seal leaking
Well he got.all of. .01 quarts of lube out of front end he.replaced the seals and filled with 80/90 as its fried as he states. And tcase is black lube over.filled and also.is saying its.fried. as he.did.circle 8s and no engagement of front axle. So do I replace it all.or one item at a time? He told me.I should go select a track.vs this awd the.limited has. Cause will be cheaper to setup. This.true or.false?

Anyway...... I need input help.... cause all I have now is 2wd. The t case goes into 4:low just no front wheel action. Do I replace my existing t case with same one that's automatic or do I swap over to a selectable one. Then see if I get front wheels to receive power? Any way to test as its on the vechicle?
