Trailer Battery Charge Line

I have 04 Grand Cherkee with factory Trailer package, however there is no current coming through this contact. People I've talked to suggest I have to install this line myself. Is this correct?

Glen

Re: Trailer Battery Charge Line

Your owners manual will explain what you need. If you don't have the manual, you can get or at least read it on line.

Re: Trailer Battery Charge Line

After a hour or so of work I discovered that the jeep was pre-wired it require the installation of a 30 amp fuse behind the left side cargo area panel. There is a foam covered bunch of wires and inside this are 2 relays and a fuse holder.
