Re: transmission pressure switch

You are talking about the 5-45RFE transmission? Did you break the line pressure sensor, which sits on the right aft side?
This sensor is mounted with one bolt, just remove the bolt and pull out the (rest of the) sensor. The connector is just the squeeze type, squeeze it and pull.

Re: transmission pressure switch

yes that is the sensor. must not be holding my mouth right. It was very dirty down there so I must not have removed all the dirt and stuff under the plastic tab. It did break when removing the trans. Thanks for the response!

New line pressure sensor can be found here (besides speed sensors and solenoid block): www.electricaladvantage.net

Re: transmission pressure switch

Thanks for the info! Found the lock was broken and very dirty. cleaned connector and was able to move the plastic lock far enough to remove the broken sensor and install on the new one.
