Transmission Problems

I have a 2001 WJ 4.0 with the 42RE trans.
Started driving after work today and the Jeep wouldn't come out of 2nd gear to go into 3rd.
I had to pull over and turn it off, wait a few minutes, and then drive. Finally it went into third gear but then it wouldn't come down to 1st or 2nd gear. Drove it all the way home like that.

Got some error codes...

P0711 - trans fluid temp sensor input above acceptable voltage
P0713 - trans fluid temp sensor A voltage circuit
P0740 - torque Convertor clutch circuit malfunction
P01757 - transmission governor pressure solenoid malfunction

I'm thinking its governor pressure solenoid and sensor/transducer. I had already replaced them once four years ago.

What do yall think?

Re: Transmission Problems

My ride have the P0740 code problem. The possible alternatives to fix the problem:

Solenoid at the governor
Rear Speed sensor
Solenoid pack and wires
Torque converter

This week I'll trying to repair the transmission. I'll tell you later if it work fine.
